CCBL launches Share Capital Mobilisation Drive

JAMMU, Dec 21. Aimed at apprising the staff and management members about the latest developments, initiatives and future roadmap of the bank, the Citizens' Cooperative Bank Ltd. (CCBL) organised a one-day interactive session, here today.
The session witnessed participation of Members of the Board of Directors, Board of Management and the Advisory Committee.
During the session, the management resolved to initiate a share capital mobilisation campaign in Jammu to further strengthen the capital adequacy of the bank and bring it at par with peer financial institutions.
Marking the beginning of the campaign, Directors on the Board, Sumant Singh Jamwal and Varinder Singh Jamwal, contributed Rs 5 lakh each towards the bank's share capital on the spot.
In a strong show of support, vice president of the Board of Management and president of Traders' Federation Warehouse Jammu, Deepak Gupta, presented a blank cheque to the Chairman of the Bank, Parveen Sharma, requesting him to fill in a suitable amount as his contribution.
Similarly, Nitin Vaid, Member of the Board of Management, also handed over a blank cheque to the Chairman as his contribution to the bank's capital.
Chairman of the Board of Management, Gopal Parthasarthy Sharma, also pledged to utilise his resources to enhance the financial strength of the bank.
Other members of the management committee likewise expressed their commitment to contribute suitable amounts for improving the bank's balance sheet.
Earlier, Chairman of the Bank, Parveen Sharma, presented a detailed overview of the bank's financial position and called upon all stakeholders to work in a united manner to place the institution among the top performing banks in Jammu.
Emphasising the importance of CASA deposits, Sharma also highlighted the need for maintaining the highest standards of customer service to ensure sustainable growth and trust among customers.
Among others who attended the session included Charanjeet Singh Raina, Suneel Mahajan, Sonal Vaid, Ashwani Puri, Suresh Kumar Gupta, Sachin Gupta, Kuldip Raj Gupta, Manish Gupta, Nitin Vaid, Rishav Choudhary, Sunil Gupta, Karunesh Gupta, Anjul Gupta, Rajinder Arora, Tinnu Gupta, Sanjeev Lamba, Rajeev Jandial, Sukhjeet Singh Jamwal and Shakti Dutt Sharma.
The proceedings were conducted by Ravi Kant, Managing Director of The Bank.
